Simply the best
As a writer I go through a lot of paper clips and staplers. This is the first stapler that I have owned that has not malfunctioned under heavy use or stapling a lot of pages together. The fact that it is not on a desk for use makes it much more versitile. You could use a desk stapler in your hand but why this is formed to fit quite well. :2010-09-15 20:20:57

DONT BUY - DOES NOT USE STANDARD STAPLES
I bought this stapler two months ago and have not been able to find any local suppliers with the right size staple. instead im forced to buy the staples on amazon from a 3rd party who will charge me an extra $4 for S&H.

Very good stapler
Ive never paid much attention to staplers until I had a need to staple multiple thick stacks of paper. That was when I realized most staplers will only go through 20 sheets of paper. I purchased this with a box of B8 1/4" staples because it claims to be able to staple 30 sheets of normal paper. I dont know how they do it but it really works. It goes through 30 sheets of normal copier paper effortlessly with the 1/4" staples. I havent tried 45 sheets since I dont have the 3/8" staples.

Note that you must use the PowerCrown B8 staples either 1/4" or 3/8". Some of the reviewers dont seem to be aware of this which explains the low rating.

All parts of this stapler is sturdy with one exception - the spring-loaded clip holding in the staples. It feels flimsy and is held in place by two plastic tabs. That is the only part that Im worried about breaking. Be careful when removing the clip if it is almost fully loaded. Since the spring is under tension if you dont hold :2010-09-15 20:20:57

Stanley Bostitch Plier Stapler
This is one of the reasons that I dont like to buy things online i.e. you can not always be sure what you are getting.

I was needing a stapler that has heavy duty staples for a project I was working on but the staples for this supposedly "heavy-duty" model are no different in size than the regular staples that I have around my house!

I would like to upgrade to something that is truly "heavy-duty" but have been procratinating doing it since I am not sure what to do and who to call. Can you please let me know how I return it?
